LAB DAY 3: JAM AND SCARTCH 

If you put iodine or betadine in the scartch it is suposed to get almost black or similar, what we´ve done in this experiment is to check if different jams have scartch and we´ve take three ifferent pieces:





Rocío´s and I hypothesis are:


  • Jamón cocido extra: we supposed that the drop was going to remain still although it was going to move a little bit through the jam.
  • Jamón bienestar: we supposed that it was going to happen the same as with the firts one.
  • Jamón York: we supposed that it was going to be like a sponge. And it was going to get "black".

Experiment 
  • Jamón cocido extra: the drop has moved and expanded a little trough the jam, but it hasn´t get black.
  • Jamón bienestar: the drop expanded a little bit, but it has stay in the same place.
  • Jamón York: the drop has been absorved by the jam an it has turned black.

Conclusion

  • Jamón cocio extra: it doesn´t have starch.
  • Jamón bienestar: it doesn´t have starch.
  • Jamón York: it has starch.
